Learn English in Dublin in Ireland  

20, 27 or 35 group lessons of  general English, Cambridge exams (FCE), IELTS, academic semester or year, private courses, business English, internship.

Our school in Dublin is conveniently located in the city’s most popular area, Temple Bar. The school’s magnificent Georgian building overlooks the River Liffey and offers first-class facilities from a multimedia room with software library and free internet access to a recently refurbished student common room.

Tuition programs

  • 1 lesson: 45 minutes
  • Minimum age: 16
  • Schedule: 08:30 AM to 3:30 PM depending on the program chosen
  • During the summer period, schedules can be modified
  • Maximum of 15 students per class (average of 10)
     
  • IELTS: 5 or 10 weeks programme. Exam each month. 35 lessons per week.
     
  • Business English: 35 lessons per week
    (20 general english and 15 business english). Minimum level required: Upper intermediate.

  • Academic semester: 21/23 weeks. Holidays will last from 1 to 3 weeks. 20 weeks tuition. 70 Euros as long-term programmes testing fee included in prices.
     
  • Academic year: 35/37 weeks. Holidays will last from 3 to 5 weeks. 32 weeks tuition. 70 Euros as long-term programmes testing fee included in prices.
     
  • Cambridge (FCE). Minimum level required: intermediate. 27  lessons per week. For those taking the Cambridge exam over 12 weeks, please foresee 1 additional week of accommodation.
     
  • Visit of the city (orientation tour)
  • Learning material. 35 Euros deposit. Will be refunded at the end if no damage caused.
  • Evaluation and certificate of linguistic training
  • Access to Internet and E-mail. WiFi.
  • All levels available.
     
  • Numerous activities and a full entertainment programme organized by the school, some to be paid on the spot like excursions in Cork, Galway.

You will need an English level of Higher Intermediate or above with good oral communication skills by the time the placement begins.
In order to enrol on an Internship programme you will need to take a free English test and supply your Curriculum Vitae and cover letter by e-mail with your enrolment form.
Please note that all Internship placements are unpaid.
Minimum 4 weeks English course is required before the placement begins. The training period will be from 4 to 12 weeks.

  • Residence, zone 1 (less than 4 kms to the school), well located. No meal or 2 meals per day. Single or double occupancy bedroom. If 2 meals per day, double occupancy only. Shared bathroom.
    There are 2 different residences, one for single travelers, the other one for 2 people travelling together.

  • 20 general English lessons: These focus on helping you to communicate effectively and confidently in everyday English. The wide-ranging syllabus will improve your listening, reading, writing and speaking skills
  • 8 English for Business electives: These lessons include subjects such as workplace communication, participation in meetings, business writing skills and interview techniques.
  • 7 structured study sessions: These sessions help to reinforce what you have learned and improve the areas where you need most practice using a blend of course books, online language exercises and interactive computer programmes

City information
Capital and port on the coast, in the mouth of Liffey river. The Vikings became established there in the IXth century and stayed there until Irish king Brian Borues threw them away in 1014. In the XIIth century Dublin was a base to the Norman for the conquest of Ireland in 1170. The old town is in general of Georgian style. Leinster House, where Dail set place ( Irish parliament) was built from 1744. Short Custom House and Oven date the second half of the XVIIIth century. It is in its Mansion House, place of residence of the lord mayor since 1715, that was pronounced the declaration of independence in 1919. The cathedral Saint Patric (tower of the XVth century) is surmounted by an arrow of XVIII' s. Dublin is an important fishing port and travelers (terminal and ferries). The most important brewery of Europe ( Guinness) is settled near Hueston Station. Dublin is finally the religious and intellectual centre of the country, the seat of a famous university (Trinity college) .Home land of Jonathan Swift, Georges Bernard Shaw, Oscar Wilde, James Joyce.
