ATTENTION: Your enrolment request MUST reach us 4 to 6 weeks before the starting dates planned, and thus for administrative reasons with the People Republic of China.

For Canadian citizens, a visa is compulsory. 

VISA INFORMATION:
All students must come to China with a valid passport (at least 6 months) and a visa.
- For short stays under 30 days, a tourist visa (L) is sufficient. A letter of invitation is not always needed to apply for a tourist visa: please contact your local Chinese consulate.
- For longer stays (more than 30 days) it is compulsory to apply for a ‘F’ visa (visit on special purpose). This 90 day visa is renewable 3 times for a  maximum total duration of 12 months.
In this case, we provide a letter of invitation for 12 weeks (even for students who have applied for
a longer stay).
During the stay, students must renew their visa 7 days before expiry. The school provide a new letter of invitation and the staff are happy to help with the formalities.

• 1 lesson: 50 minutes.
• Minimum age: 16.
• Schedule: 09:00 AM, flexible depending on the choosen program.
• 8 students per class.
• Group or private courses: minimum 2 weeks.
• All levels available from beginner to advanced.
• School material.
• Internet access, high speed.
• Many activities organized by the school , optional and to be paid on the spot. 1 activity every afternoon: 5$US per activity.
   
• Business Chinese: for intermediate to advanced levels only. 30 lessons per week (10 for exclusive and specific business vocabulary and business environment situations).
   
• KUNG FU or CALLIGRAPHIE: 4 lessons per week, in group or private (1 to 1). In addition to a Chinese course for the same period..
   
• 30 group lessons per week: 12 or 24 weeks to specific starting dates.
   
• Test and certificate of course completion.

Starting Dates

GROUP COURSE, 20 lessons per week: Beginners MUST start on the following dates:

Other levels, any Monday.

GROUP COURSE, 30 lessons per week, 12 or 24 weeks on the following starting dates:

Private courses (1 to 1): any Monday

Kung Fu : no course between January 10 and March 10, 2009.

Calligraphie: any Monday.

School closing dates.

Tuition missed during these periods will be caught up except in February from 6 to 12.

• Our families are strictly selected. 2 meals per day included. They are very nice and welcoming. The Chinese criteria about cleanliness being quite different from European’s, they are also aware that their home must be faultless. Please be aware that most families don’t speak English at all!
  Most of our host family accommodation are located 10 mn on foot to the school. However, as this accommodation is very popular, during peak seasons we are also obliged to place our clients with
  family’s living 15 to 35mn (on foot + subway). Beijing is a huge capital and that a 30 to 40 mn distance is still very reasonable.

Free internet access for broadband in the living room (no computer supplied). Bedrooms can be locked with a key There are 2 & 3 pins sockets in the rooms.
